For the Trujillo sisters, entrepreneurial spirit was a huge part of their upbringing. Faviola and Gabriella were raised in a family where culture and business were intertwined. It makes sense that, as adults, they took their father’s example, saw a need for authentic Mexican food and decided to create a business dedicated to preserving Hispanic culture through food. This is how the @tacoytacolv chain of restaurants came to be.

Despite the odds, their business took off and is well known for its truly delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. The sisters’ story is proof that when you have passion, refusal to allow challenges to stop you, and a deep connection to your heritage, anything is possible.
